On Saturday, 5 th January, A folk singing in National Kala Utsav which was organised by Ministry of Education, held at Bhuvneshwar Guntajpreet Singh of Woodstock Public School, Batala has proved his talent, dedication and commitment bought laurel at National level. Participation from all over the states & union territories delivered jaw dropping performances. Choosing the winner from all the brilliant singers was not an easy task. However, after long and patient wait Guntajpreet Singh was announced as a National Winner.
Guntajpreet Singh Participated in PTC Voice of Punjab When he was 11yrs old and cleared all the Mega Rounds got Best performer Award. He also participated in many District levels singing competition & Won prizes. He won Sahodya Inter School Competitions. Now he has become National Winner by clinching First place in Folk Singing category and represented Punjab. He has been blessed with the wonderful voice and inspiring mentors who recognise his talent and motivated him to participate and shine at the National Level.

Simranjeet Singh was cynosure of all eyes during the glittering felicitation function organised by Woodstock School. He was the team member of Hockey team that won medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Beaming Simranjit Singh thanked the Woodstockians for appreciating his efforts. He further motivated students to work hard to excel in any field

Batala ,June 28: Woodstock family paid heartfelt tribute to the legendary Indian flying Sikh, Milkha Singh who passed away on June 18 due to covid -19 complications.
Chairperson Dr.Satinderjit Nijjar & Principal Dr. Ancy said Flying Sikh not only brought glory to his nation but won millions of hearts with his humility..The legendary athlete has touched the lives of the millions with his inspiring success story.
