Woman's Day Celebration
International Women's Day is celebrated annually on every March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. Woodstock Public School celebrated this day by performing choreographies, singing group songs, delivering speeches, reciting poems and writing resolutions in bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence against women.
Dr. Satinder Nijjar - a great woman and a chairperson of Woodstock graced the celebration with her presence. She was welcomed by the school Principal -Mrs.Ancy and school staff.
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
Freedom in the mind, Strength in the words, Pureness in our blood, Pride in our souls, Zeal in our hearts, Let's salute our India on this 72nd Republic Day.
Today, let us remember the golden heritage of our country and feel proud to be a part of India.On the auspicious morning of 25th January 2021, Woodstock School celebrated Republic Day in the school premises. It was the matter of great pride for all of us. January 26 marks an important day in India's history. In 1950, the country became a republic after attaining independence three years earlier. On this very day, the most important document in the country, our constitution came into effect as well and is considered sacrosanct always.
The day was celebrated with great pomp and show at Woodstock Public School . The campus was beautifully decorated with tricolor balloons and posters of freedom fighters. To grace the occasion our beloved Chairperson Dr. Satinderjit Nijjar, our elite Principal Dr.Ancy were present . However, due to COVID-19, our school has decided to have no chief guest present during the festivities.
Principal, teachers and the students didn't want to leave any stone unturned in making this monumental day a memorable one. Our hon'ble Chairperson and Principal unfurled the national flag. After that everybody stood for National Anthem sung by the students.
Students presented cultural items that included patriotic songs, folk dances and speeches and poems. Students also presented skit based on casteism.
The message of the skit was to convey that we Woodstockians will not tolerate such activities in the country on the basis of caste, colour and creed. Then there were speakers who through their speeches and poems invoked the precious contribution of great freedom fighters. Towards the end, Our respected Chairperson Dr. Satinderjit Nijjar shared her valuable words with the students and also extended warm wishes on this Republic Day . Not to forget Dr. Satinderjit Nijjar appreciated the students for putting up such a wonderful program. Last but not the least our guiding light our Principal Dr. Ancy congratulated a all the participants. She also shared that how to be safe in the campus during the time of COVID-19.

Gurpurab Celebration
The students of Woodstock Batala celebrated birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji with full dedication, devotion and gaiety. The teachers and students recited hymns in praise of the almighty.
Chairperson of the school Dr. Satinderjit kaur Nijjar and Principal Dr. Ancy gave message of love and teachings to students and follow guidelines of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
